Party Popper hosted it's first ever Over 18's event in association with Takeover Radio on
Bank Holiday Sunday 27th December 2009, taking place at Leicester's Liquid & Envy nightclub.

Takeover Radio presenters Dave Show, Crazy Jay Snipes and Mike Watson were all in attendence in the Liquid Arena with Dave taking to the decks and Jay hosting on the mic as well as taking to the decks throughout too.

Leicester's own MartinCo. hosted the Envy room with a full host of Party Anthems and Classics.

Special guest P.A.'s came from Leicester's own talents Bizzi ("Bizzi's Party") and K.Y. ("Be With You Girl")

And the surprise guest Ministry of Sound DJ was... Leicester's own: H ' TWO' O !!!
