This week, two local artists are included in the playlist. First of all local band Ashfield’s feature with their track ‘It’s not me, it’s you’ – the band will be performing at our Christmas Cracker on December 18th and formed earlier this year. Carl from the band was interviewed by Alison a few weeks ago and following their appearance at the Plug Promotions ‘Fight Night’ last week, fans have been getting in contact wanting more after rave reviews from the Takeover crew.
Second, another act working with Plug Promotions, is 16 year old Mansfield based lad Ryan Calvert-Cousins with his track ‘Hellbound’. Ryan got in touch through facebook and after our panel of young presenters listened to his track, it received a huge thumbs up.
Joining our two local acts on this week’s show are up and coming Folk Duo Taylor & Marie, the duo perform their version of ‘Bad Moon Rising’. Also on the show we hear from established Berlin based band ‘The BossHoss’ the seven piece band have had previous chart hits and will be hoping for the same outcome with ‘Whatever’.
Our final pick of interest comes from singer songwriter Logan Wilson. Since appearing on the scene in 2006, Logan has appeared at numerous festivals and was once of the books of Sony. Logan has just completed his second album and his track ‘Tell my heart’ features on this weeks NMT.
