Not the official name of the 4pm hour, but Mike considers the second hour of the show to be referred to as the showbiz hour as he'll bring you the latest news from the world of entertainment.

ALTERNATIVE NEWS BULLETIN ...
At 5pm you'll get the serious news, but later on in the show you'll get the Alternative News... it's not featured in the serious news because it's not serious. It's a dose of some of the worlds more silly yet hilarious stories that are worth just as much air time as the serious stuff.

ABOUT MIKE WATSON ...
Mike first began presenting on Takeover Radio in June 2002 as he woke up Leicester every weekday morning with the "Wake Up Call".

After being the breakfast host for over 4 and half years, Mike decided to have a lie in from then on as he moved to afternoons to present "Skoolz Out".

Mike is a buff when it comes to sound effects - one listen to his show and you'll start to understand why.

He is also the dead ringer of Enrique Iglesias that he so claims to be on air - infact, the lovely ladies of Leicester often ask him for a picture as they believe him to actually be the Latin rogue.

Mike has been in the radio industry for almost 20 years!! And yet he's still nowehere near as old as he looks!

All in all, Mike is a great bloke with a great sense of humour - the perfect combition for great radio!
